Year 4 and Year 5

Welcome back! We hope you are ready for an exciting and busy summer term. 

The class is taught by Miss Poggiali with support from Miss Warwick. 

In maths, we will begin with money where the children can apply their previous learning of decimals. We will then move onto statistics and shape near the end of the term. 

In English, our writing will be based on the text Who Let the Gods Out?, Where the children will explore a range of writing opportunities inspired by the story.

In geography, we will be focusing on Greece and looking at the differences between Greece and the UK to answer our enquiry question: How is life different in Greece compared to the UK?

In Art, the children will be creating some sculptures inspired by the artist Kate Malone. 

In PE, children will take part in athletics and dodgeball during the first half of the term before moving on to tennis and rounders after half term. 

We are looking forward to a fantastic term ahead.
