Welcome to Pippin Class 2025 -2026

Welcome to the 2025/2026 page for Pippin Class. Pippin class are a wonderful mix of year 2s and year 3s and they are currently being taught by Miss Forknall. The class is also supported by Mrs Hamm and Mrs Winter.

Pippin understand they play an important role in being kind and caring within our school. 

This term in English, we will begin by exploring The Colour Monster before moving on to the exciting adventure story Stone Age Boy.

In Maths, we are starting with learning to tell the time and will then progress to shape, position, and direction. In Geography, our focus is on learning all about our school as we investigate the enquiry question: Why is our school special? This links closely with our DT project where the children will design and make bunting to celebrate our school. In Science we will be discovering all about plants and how they grow.
